The State of Qatar and the EU initialed a comprehensive Air Transport Agreement at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels today. H.E Minister of transport & Communications H.E Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti and H.E European Commission Vice-President for jobs, Growth, Investment and competitiveness Mr. Jyrki Katainen witnessed the signing event which is the first of its kind between the EU and a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member State, the agreement allows for open airspace between Qatar and all the EU, in addition to daily shipment flights between the two sides.
